TheBest Dedicated Proxiesof 2021

Dedicated proxies are IP addresses you alone use at a given time or for certain domains. Until recently, they included only datacenter addresses. Today, you can get dedicated residential proxies, as well.

Such proxies are great for hiding your online identity. You can also use them to scrape the web, run various automation software (such as Instagram bots), buy sneakers and other limited edition items, and access local content.

If you’re looking to buy dedicated proxies – or trying to figure out if you need them – you’ve come to the right place. We’ve collected the best proxy providers for a wide range of budgets and tasks. Let’s go!

Dedicated Proxies vs Rotating Residential Proxies: Which Ones Do You Need?

This is a frequent question. The answer depends on what you want to use the proxies for – and, of course, your budget.

So, to make your choice between dedicated datacenter proxies and residential proxies, there are three questions you should answer:

  1. Does the website I’m targeting care? If you’re targeting a small or less protected site, dedicated proxies will be fine. But if it’s Google, Instagram, or Amazon – your success rate will be much lower than you’d expect. They care, and they’re out to get you.
  2. Do I know what I’m doing? This one’s very important. For example, plenty of people use dedicated proxies to scrape hard targets like Google and succeed. However, they know their software inside out and have years of experience. If you want fast results and you’re not very skilled yet, rotating residential proxies will give you much less frustration and more success.
  3. Do I need a consistent identity? This one applies mostly to social media. It’s somewhat debatable, but if you want to do something sustainable (like manage multiple accounts), you should have a consistent IP address. Nowadays, social networks are hard on datacenter proxies, but dedicated residential proxies can still work.

Pros & Cons of a Dedicated Proxy

  • Fast – dedicated proxies are a premium option, so they usually use the fastest servers available. This applies to both datacenter and residential dedicated proxies.
  • Yours to use – no one will be using these proxies alongside you, at least for the domain you’re interested in. So, you’ll experience no unexpected blocks as you might with shared proxies. To put it poetically, you’ll be the master of your fate.
  • Secure – you won’t have to worry about others doing something illegal with your proxy, something that could get you into trouble.

  • Expensive – you’ll be using the IPs alone, so you’ll be the one shouldering all of the cost.

There’s No Such Thing as Free Dedicated Proxies

It’s hard to find free proxies that work well, and it’s a pipe dream to find free dedicated proxies at all. Don’t get hooked on false promises. You can read more about why we’re so against free proxies here.
