Byteful, the UK-based provider of proxy servers, has outfitted its datacenter and ISP proxies with TCP/IP fingerprint spoofing.

Byteful’s proxy servers received the ability to emulate five operating systems: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.

TCP/IP fingerprinting is one of the surfaces anti-bot systems increasingly lean on to identify website visitors. Matching the proxy’s fingerprint with the client can improve success rates.

The feature is relatively rare as far as server-hosted proxies go. Peer-to-peer proxy servers, such as residential proxies, rely on filtering the available pool of devices instead. Byteful recently introduced this feature as well.

TCP/IP fingerprint spoofing is available in open beta at no extra cost.
