Decodo, the Lithuanian provider of proxies and web scraping infrastructure, has remade its scraping API product.

The updated API includes four broad endpoints for interacting with websites:

decodo web data api endpoints

/scrape, /crawl, and /map can be used with any website, while /search returns data from what we assume is Google.

/scrape also includes specialized templates for websites like Amazon, TikTok, and ChatGPT. They come with pre-made parsers, custom parameters, and tailored scraping strategies to ensure a better success rate.

Decodo’s pricing for Web Data API factors in several parameters: the endpoint, use of premium proxies, and JavaScript rendering. The rate can differ by up to three times.

With this update, Decodo continues the Firecrawl-ification of web scraping APIs, which has been affecting the broader market.

Web Data API is already available for purchase. It comes with a trial of up to 5K crawls or 10K scraped pages.
