I immediately reached out to their support to report this security breach and manually changed my password to secure my account.

Instead of investigating the rogue IP address or helping me recover my stolen data, their support team completely blocked my account, accusing me of a “Terms of Service violation.” To make things worse, they told me I have to wait until Monday’s business hours just to get an explanation, completely freezing the remaining data I paid for.

They literally punished the victim instead of the attacker. When I demanded a refund for this horrible experience, they refused immediate action. Unprofessional support, zero security management, and terrible customer service. Avoid DataImpulse at all costs!

Hi Oleh, thanks for the info.

Not according to Dataimpulse’s documentation:

“The Whitelist IPs feature allows users to easily add and manage IP addresses for accessing our residential proxies. With IP authentication, there is no need for login and password credentials.
When using IP authentication, the country selection for the connection will be randomized. This means that users cannot choose a specific country and it will be automatically determined.”

That’s a great review.
However, I have noticed some incorrect information:

“Authentication by IP whitelisting is more limiting: it’s not possible to filter by country, which means you’ll be getting proxies randomly.”

The thing is that you can select a country on the plan configuration and even without login/pass authorization, you will have IPs from the country you have selected.

Have a nice day!
